Viriginia ODP Players

Janice Johnson

U17 VISTA Shockwave, WAGS Champions Division

Janice Johnson currently plays up on the U17 VISTA Shockwave.  Prior to that Janice played for the U17 Alexandria Arrows and was personally trained by Ryan Quinn, Director of Dynamo Elite Soccer Programs from 2005 - 2007. 

Janice came from Recreational soccer and began training with Ryan and joined the Alexandria Arrows in 2005.   In 2005 she won the Golden Boot award for receiving the most points in a season long team competition.  She received a trophy and pair of cleats of her choosing.  She then tried out for ODP in the summer of 2006 and has gone from the district team, to the state team, and is currently on the VA ODP Region I team,  In the winter of 2007 Janice was invited to attend ODP National Team Camp. Janice has a tremendous work ethic for her age and shows amazing potential.  She spends countless additional hours training throughout the season.

  • 1st  place, Indoor - Fairfax Sportsplex playing 2 yrs. up in U-15/ U-16  ( 6-0-1)
  • Janice attended 10 Dynamo Elite Skills winter sessions in off season before Spring Season

SPRING 2006

  • 2nd place, WAGS Div. 3 - UNDEFEATED [Promotion to WAGS DIV. 2 ]
  • Janice received 3rd place for leading points in the Spring 2007 Golden Boot team competition
  • Janice assisted the U/10 Dynamo Elite Boys NCSL coached by DOC & Player Development of Alexandria Soccer
  • Assisted the rising U/9 Boys and Girls try-outs for newly formed travel teams Directed by Ryan Quinn

SUMMER 2006

  • Janice attended William & Mary Residential Camp where she played with high school players and was awarded the MVP of the camp.  Her team won the camp tournament championship.

Camille El-Baba

U13 ASA Dynamo Elite, NCSL Div IV

Camille El-Baba has trained with Ryan Quinn, Director of Dynamo Elite Soccer Programs since U10.  Camille has worked very hard over the past year to improve his game and sharpen his skills.  This summer Camille tried out for ODP and made the district team for his age group ('95).  Congratulations Camille!

FALL 2005

  • U12 ASA Dynamo Elite - NCSL Div. VI
  • U12 ASA Dynamo Elite scored 49 goals.  The most of any NCSL U12 team that season.

Gianna Knuston
Gianna Knuston currently plays for the U13 Alexandria Freedom (WAGS Div. III) coached by Joe Easton.  Gianna attended the goalkeeper clinics directed by Zach Bass, Director of Goalkeeper Training, Dynamo Elite Soccer Programs and the Goalkeeper trainer for the Alexandria Soccer Association twice a week over the last two seasons.  She was selected as the goalkeeper for the '96 ODP Northern District Team in the summer of 2008.  Congratulations Gianna!

 

Emma Vignali

Emma Vignali joined the Alexandria Arrows in the Winter of 2007.  She was the goalkeeper on the team through the Spring of 2008.  Emma made the VA ODP district pool this year for her age group ('92).  Congratulations Emma!

Claire Dormer

U17 Alexandria Arrows, WAGS U19 Division II

Claire Dormer currently is a captain and plays on the U17 Alexandria Arrows and was coached and trained by Ryan Quinn since U12.  In 2006 she won the Golden Boot award for receiving the most points in a season long team competition.  She received a trophy and pair of cleats of her choosing.  In 2007 Claire was selected as a goalkeeper for VA Northern District ODP.  Claire is one of the most versitile players I have had a chance to work with.   She is all heart and it comes through in her play and leadership on the field.

Ari currently plays on the U17 Alexandria Arrows.   She has been coached by Ryan Quinn since U12.  At that time Ari had personal training with Ryan and made the VA ODP Distict Team at U13.  Congratultions Ari!

Helen Snelgrove

Helen Snelgrove was formerly trained by Ryan Quinn.  During that time she was selected as a goalkeeper for the ODP District Team in the summer of 2006.  Congratulations Helen!
